meghann_vampy

Name: Charlotte Rowlands
Age: 25
In school: no
If yes,year:
PB: Gia Mora
Interests: cheesy romance novels, comic books, trashy reality tv, art, computers, armchair psychology
Relation to the cafe (employee, entertainment, customer, etc): customer
Brief bio:
Charlotte was raised just outside of St. Louis, Missori. She had an average childhood filled with innocent crushes, grass-stained jeans and snowball fights. Her family consists of her lawyer parents, James and Helen, and her two younger sisters, Emily and Anne.
Always the academic shining star, Charlotte won herself a partial scholarship to attend Brown University. However, after a few years of tedious study and questioning her future goals, she dropped out of college all together and began drifting from one job to another. She currently works at a tech support hotline helping morons make sense of their gadgets and occasionally sells her artwork on the side. Money is always tight, but Charlotte believes that her mental happiness should come before a respectable career.
Though reserved at first, Charlotte actually has a rather wacky personality. She enjoys bright colors, horror movies, and carnival junk foods. It takes a lot to make her frown but not much at all to make her smile.
Charlotte is involved in a local book club and occasionally goes out drinking with some friends from her university days, but doesn't have too many close friends. She prefers to study people first, then get to know them later. She goes out with men and had one disastrous flirtation with another woman, but "dating" isn't a high priority for her. Charlotte just wants someone low-key to share her love of Batman comics and late-night infomercials with. She has one pen-pal from England, Ben, whom she's corresponded with since she was thirteen.
She stumbled into the Daily Grind by accident while trying to dodge a sudden rain shower, figuring a coffee shop would be the perfect place to hang out while waiting for the sun to reappear. The atmosphere and people were lovely, so she returned and can often be found in a corner of the establishment watching everything over the edge of her current favorite book.
